Introduction (परिचय) 

The origins of Bahuakbarpur trace back to the first settlement established by Dada Gusaai Alaa at Khedaa, an area surrounded by dense jungles. Initially, the settlers faced water scarcity due to insufficient monsoon rains. One day, they noticed a buffalo (Jhottaa) returning with mud on its body, indicating a nearby water source. Following the buffalo’s trail, they discovered a large lake, now known as Boras. This led them to settle at Kurad, an earlier abandoned settlement.

According to legend, the village was founded by three brothers, the sons of Ch. Gusaai Balhara. Upon reaching this place, the wife of the youngest brother advised her son to tell his uncle to settle farther away to avoid crowding. Taking the suggestion literally, the eldest brother moved further to Neemsray (Delhi) but sent back a message, “If it’s still crowded, I’ll move further.”

Approximately 150 years ago, the village was divided between two brothers, Akbar and Jamal, for tax collection purposes. The larger settlement became Bahuakbarpur (named after Akbar), and the smaller one became Bahujamalpur (named after Jamal).

बहुअकबरपुर का इतिहास दादा गुसाई अला द्वारा बसे पहले ठिकाने खेड़ा से जुड़ा है, जो घने जंगलों से घिरा हुआ था। शुरुआत में, कम मानसून के कारण पानी की कमी हुई। एक दिन, उन्होंने देखा कि झोटा (भैंस) अपने शरीर पर गीली मिट्टी के साथ लौटा, जिससे पास में जलस्रोत होने का संकेत मिला। भैंस के निशान का पीछा करते हुए, वे एक बड़े तालाब तक पहुंचे, जिसे आज बोड़स के नाम से जाना जाता है। इसके बाद उन्होंने कुराड़ नामक एक परित्यक्त बस्ती में बसने का फैसला किया।

कहा जाता है कि गांव की स्थापना तीन भाइयों, चौधरी गुसाई बल्हारा के पुत्रों ने की थी। जब वे यहां पहुंचे, तो सबसे छोटे भाई की पत्नी ने अपने बेटे से कहा कि वह अपने ताऊ से कहे कि भीड़भाड़ से बचने के लिए थोड़ा और दूर जाकर बसे। बड़े भाई ने इस सुझाव को गंभीरता से लिया और नेमसराय (दिल्ली) चले गए, लेकिन संदेश भेजा, "अगर यहां भी भीड़ है, तो मैं और आगे चला जाऊंगा।"

लगभग 150 साल पहले, गांव को कर वसूली के लिए दो भाइयों, अकबर और जमाल, के बीच विभाजित कर दिया गया। बड़े गांव का नाम बाहुअकबरपुर (अकबर के नाम पर) और छोटे गांव का नाम बाहूजमालपुर (जमाल के नाम पर) पड़ा।
